Divine Ices

Established in sunny Devon during 2001, Divine Ices is a professional mobile ice cream hire business. Operated by David Mott, they wanted a simple website and a Facebook page for people to be able to contact them for hire. Divine Ices previously had a holding page for a website with just an opening sentence and contact details.

They also needed a new logo, mainly for use on the Internet. The logo on his vehicle used Disney font so there were likely copyright issues with using this on his website and Facebook. We put together a new simple, yet modern logo and based the website design off of this, where we used pastel colours that reminded us of our favourite ice-cream flavours!

Throughout David’s time on the road, he’d amassed a collection of high quality photographs from local photographers and newspapers, which he wanted to showcase somehow. David had very little knowledge on the web and social media and hadn’t had much experience with computers either. We walked him through everything during the process from the design to launch, and even providing training on how to manage his Facebook page, upload his photographs and interact with his followers.

Andrew was very understanding as my computer skills were non existent and he was very patient. I felt very relaxed during the whole process and was extremely pleased the ideas he put forward. I’m very pleased with my choice of Andrew and I’m sure he’s going to be a big part of our business in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his personal friendly service to my family, friends or anyone who was considering such a service.
